Walleye seem to be mixed in with the Crappie as a lot of Crappie fishermen are reporting catching Walleye on accident. Minnows and snap jigs seem to be attracting the Walleyes nicely this past week.

The Sucker bite has been hot for sure! A lot of guys coming in and reporting a lot of action on suckers. The majority of folks seem to be floating suckers around while they are casting bigger rubber baits, glide baits, and jerk baits as of late. Some are getting some action with some late fall trolling as well. Seems to be a lot of action in and outside of Moore's Bay with all the Musky chasing the Crappie around. Same can be said for the Blueberry Flats.

Crappie action has been very good in Moore's Bay and in Blueberry! Minnows are working in about 15-18 feet in Moore' Bay while Hyper Rattles, Jigging Raps, and Shiver Minnows have been working well in deeper water for bigger Crappies in about 20-24 feet.

Weather is going to be fantastic this week. Highs will predominantly be in the mid 50s. Lows look to be in the low to mid 40s. By next weekend it cools off slightly but not much with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Expect some light showers tomorrow (Saturday) and some rain is forecasted for next weekend.

Fall Color Report: We are now officially in peak color season! The colors look beautiful. Come on up and enjoy the view! A bit of Sad News: I made a post about this on the Facebook page but figured we would announce it here as well. I am very sad to report that Randy Armsbury has passed away. Most, if not all, of you knew Randy very well. He will be deeply missed. He was a legend here in the local community as well as in the bait industry. I know he loved all of you that he met through the years and he would always tell me how much he loved still working around the shop after he retired because he got to see so many of you. Thank you all for being so kind to him over the years. Your kindness and friendship meant so much to him. May he rest easy now and watch over all of us.
